Dinnerware Royal Limoges

Royal Limoges is the oldest existing porcelain factory in Limoges today and has carried forward for over two centuries the know how, the tradition, and the ancient expertise and craftmanship which made the Limoges name famous all over the world. 

In fact, all the way back since1797 its famed history was built around the most famous names in Limoges porcelain: Alluaud, Clement, Dufraissex, Abbott and Lanternier.

Royal Limoges has been headquartered in the center of Limoges since1816, by the banks of the river Vienne which, in the old days was used to ferry the firewood for its kilns. The raw materials came from its own kaolin quarries and was cured in its own mills.

Today the company keeps on making its own clay. Its own patterns are all exclusive and designed in house, or submitted by its own clients for private labeling work. It has also opened a new state-of-the-art production facility at "Le Dorat" in the suburbs of Limoges.

A constant and uncompromising commitment to creativity, authenticity and quality has allowed Royal Limoges to remain to this day THE reference in LIMOGES dinnerware.
